Baby Loafers

Love how these little boy loafers turned out!  I used this pattern.  Well written and easy to follow.  They became my cake topper for this diaper cake.

County Fair Ribbons

There is something totally fun and exciting about entering items in the county fair!  Even though I crafted often as a child (sewing, crocheting, miniatures, etc.) I never entered anything in the fair until last year.  I wasn't as excited about my projects this year, but I still did fairly well (no pun intended :).

Chokecherry Syrup

It is such a fulfilling thing to harvest food and see it processed and made ready to give or store for future use.  Yesterday my kids and I were able to go to our gracious neighbors home to pick from their chokecherry trees.  We made syrup to enjoy on pancakes and waffles.  Yum!

Notepad Gift

This sweet little notepad set was a fun gift to make as a Thank You for our children's librarian.  It has a Post-It pad inside and I chopped a pen down to size to make it fit the holder.  Making more of these soon.

Card Making Spurt

Every now and then I do get an opportunity to make and finish a project.  Here is a fun card I created one day along with a friend.  It was one I had been dreaming about for a while and finally got a moment to make.

Lace Crochet Hat - Pinned It! Did It!

Miss D's Crochet Hat

I had a request from a friend to make a hat for her daughter, so I decided to make a couple more for my own daughter and her Hearts 4 Hearts Doll (she got to choose the colors).  These hats are fun and easy to make.  I did alter the finishing to more of a band and added elastic just around the bottom to make it a more fitted hat.  I imagine making lots of these in the future.

Penguin Appetizers - Pinned It! Did It!

My Flock of Edible Penguins

Had so much fun making these little guys for a Christmas party we attended.  My husband even got in on it and helped me cut feet and beaks.  They were so simple and cute!  Next time I think one can of olives will be enough though, here I used two cans (one small, for the heads, and one medium, for the bodies).

Still Knittin

Though the days have been busy I have continued knitting and sold a number of wristwarmers and coffee cozies at our local coffee shop, The Beta.  This set of knit wristwarmers shows a pair in youth and adult size.  Hoping to continue making and selling more during these chilly winter months.
